Startrails Montafon

Three days of first-class trails through the Austrian Alps. The central event venue in St. Gallenkirch/Vorarlberg offers a mixture of relaxation, fun, and high-quality local accommodation and food, with the Chalet-Resort Montafon right by the start and finish lines. A great program of accompanying events and childcare also makes Startrails Montafon an unforgettable experience for friends and family members not taking part in the trails.

Startrails Montafon will take place for the first time between September 30 and October 2, 2021. The 3-day trail run is aimed at athletes who are ideally looking for a sporting event set in natural surroundings and offering fun with family and friends. Cover 90 km and 5000 vertical meters across the Montafon mountains in three days. Startrails Montafon: Sport, nature, and pleasure!

Sport: Trail running in three stages, on three first-class routes, over three days, starting and finishing in picturesque Montafon in the Austrian Alps.

Day 1 (September 30):        26 km, 1720 vertical meters

Day 2 (October 1):               37 km, 1760 vertical meters

Day 3 (October 2):               27 km, 1820 vertical meters

Nature: The natural gem of Montafon is a great place for quiet reflection as well as an impressive setting for major sporting achievements. The Silvretta, Verwall, and Rätikon mountain ranges are an imposing backdrop for this event. Naturally, we will be treating this sensitive natural landscape with respect and using resources efficiently.

Pleasure: Stay in the central Chalet-Resort Montafon, offering fantastic facilities for relaxation and individual downtime. The central start and finish location for all three days eliminates any awkward logistics issues and enables you to really enjoy the trails and experience fantastic moments together.
