The freestyle elite are battling it out for World Championship gold
The Slopestyle Freeski & Snowboard World Championships will bring together the international freestyle elite in Silvretta Montafon. From 12 to 20 March 2027, the athletes will showcase technically demanding tricks, high jumps and creative runs. On the slopestyle course, difficulty, execution and style will determine who takes home the World Championship medals.
After training and qualifying, the focus shifts to gold, silver and bronze: the Slopestyle Snowboard event will be decided on 19 March, followed by the Slopestyle Freeski final on 20 March. Then every jump and every trick will count in the battle for the world title.
All events at the 2027 World Championships, as well as the supporting programme at Kirchplatz in Schruns, are free to attend. For the mountain events, all you need is a valid cable car ticket.
Normal skiing operations will continue throughout the World Championships – there are no restrictions on skiing in the resort.
The events take place near the Sonnen Bahn mountain station. To get to the competition venue, we recommend taking the Valisera Bahn cable car.
