Montafon

The Montafon: a 39-kilometer-long valley in the south of Vorarlberg made up of 11 areas: Partenen, Gaschurn, Gortipohl, St. Gallenkirch, Gargellen, Silbertal, Schruns, Tschagguns, Bartholomäberg (Gantschier), Vandans and St. Anton. Surrounded by the Silvretta mountain range to the south, the Verwall mountain range to the north-east and the Rätikon mountain range to the north-west.

Sporty. Active. Adventurous. Genuine. The Montafon is where tradition and adventure meet. Here you will find yourself in a unique natural setting, gazing up at peaks of up to 3,312 meters in height. The natural surroundings will provide you with a comprehensive range of leisure and sporting activities, as well as plenty of opportunities for rest and relaxation.

Winter in the Montafon: Skiing and snowboarding. Trails and powder. Cross-country skiing and tobogganing. White mountains and snow-covered landscapes. Ice skating, hiking and snowshoeing. During the colder times of the year, the southernmost valley in Vorarlberg is transformed into a true winter sports paradise.
